Senior Physician Geriatric Psychiatry Luzern

When geriatric psychiatry meets genuine creative freedom. In Luzern, we are looking for a Senior Physician Geriatric Psychiatry with a workload of 80–100 % for a specialized geriatric psychiatric ward, starting immediately or by arrangement. An interprofessional team awaits you at a clinic with a broad outpatient and inpatient treatment spectrum as well as a university connection.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You take on the senior medical responsibility for one of the specialized geriatric psychiatric wards
• You lead the ward in dual leadership together with the ward management
• You lead and coach an interprofessional team
• You actively help shape a modern, patient-oriented treatment concept
• You take over the supervision of assistant physicians and psychologists as well as their continuing and advanced education
• If interested, you perform a consultative activity in surrounding care facilities

What you bring with you

• Completed or nearing completion of specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Ideally experience and special interest in the field of geriatric psychiatry
• German language skills at least at level C1
