Senior Physician Geriatric Psychiatry

For our Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, we are looking for a Senior Physician for the geriatric psychiatry specialty ward, effective immediately or by arrangement. In addition to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service and the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatriezentrum Breitenau is one of several locations of the Spitäler Schaffhausen. The Psychiatriezentrum Breitenau in the Breite district of Schaffhausen consists of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy with its inpatient, day-clinic, and outpatient treatment offers as well as long-term psychiatry. ###

• Management of an acute ward with a treatment focus on geriatric psychiatry
• Guiding a team in conducting inpatient and outpatient therapies
• Case management of selected outpatient and inpatient patients
• Further development of the competency focus on geriatric psychiatry
• Participation in the collegial on-call service of the clinic

• Completed or advanced further training as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy
• An existing specialty title in geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy or experience in the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of elderly patients is advantageous
