Head of Nursing and Care

IKA Rosengasse is the joint elderly and nursing institution of the municipalities of Fehraltdorf, Russikon, and Weisslingen. With 32 nursing places and 23 elderly apartments, it offers older people a home that combines self-determination, security, and quality of life. IKA Rosengasse offers the advantages of a familial and manageable institution: personal relationships, direct communication, and a strong, supportive togetherness. On behalf of IKA Rosengasse, we are looking for an open and committed personality as Head of Nursing and Care / Member of the Executive Board (80 - 100%)

Your task
You lead the nursing area professionally, personally, and organizationally. At the same time, you actively participate in nursing for approx. 20% on an annual average. This allows you to stay close to the residents and know the team's daily routine.

• you lead and support the employees in the nursing area
• ensure safe and good nursing care
• support the training and development of employees and trainees
• plan foresightfully and use existing resources sensibly
• work closely with the executive board and all areas in the house
• maintain a good exchange with doctors, relatives, and other partners
• contribute your ideas and help shape the future of the institution

What you bring

• a recognized qualification as a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH
• ideally an SVEB qualification
• a valid professional practice permit (BAB) from the Canton of Zurich or meet the requirements to obtain it
• sound medical expertise and confidence in dealing with complex nursing situations
• joy in working with elderly people
• leadership experience or the potential and motivation to take on a leadership role
• clear, understandable, and appreciative communication
• interest in people and a good sense for different needs
• further training in the field of leadership or the willingness to complete such

Do you come from a hospital or another medical environment? We look forward to hearing from you even then. Experience in long-term care is welcome, but not a must. For IKA Rosengasse, your attitude, professionalism, and leadership understanding are what count.
