Nursing Professional HF/FH as Co-Management Living (90-100 %)

The residential home Haus Birsstegweg in Birsfelden offers 12 adults with physical impairments and chronic illnesses a home with individual care, professional support, and a meaningful daily structure.

As part of a succession arrangement due to retirement, we are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and warm personality per 1. February 2027 or by arrangement, who will complement our co-management team and actively help shape the future of our residential home.

You will work in a proven co-management model and, together with your co-management partner, assume responsibility for the professional, organizational, and personnel management of the living area. In doing so, you will combine leadership responsibility with active participation in the nursing and care of our residents.

Your tasks

Leadership, Organization and Development

• You manage the residential home together with your co-management partner and further develop the organization professionally, organizationally, and strategically.
• You are a member of the executive management team and participate in regular executive management meetings.
• You assume co-responsibility for deployment planning, quality assurance, and the further development of our services.
• You promote appreciative and interdisciplinary cooperation within the team as well as with external specialist agencies.
• You actively participate in change and development processes.

Nursing and Support

• You work actively in the direct nursing and care of the residents and regularly undertake nursing assignments in everyday living.
• You ensure individual, professional, and needs-based care and support.
• You accompany residents in everyday life and promote their self-determination, quality of life, and social participation.
• You undertake medical-technical tasks and ensure the professional implementation of medical prescriptions.
• You coordinate and accompany primary care (Bezugspflege).
• You are willing to perform shift, weekend, and holiday services.

Quality and Professional Responsibility

• You bear the professional responsibility in the nursing area and for the cooperation with Spitex.
• You maintain nursing documentation professionally and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• You actively participate in the further development of concepts, processes, and quality standards.
• You maintain professional relationships with relatives, legal guardians, doctors, and other stakeholders.

Your Profile

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a certified nursing professional HF/FH, DN II, AKP or an equivalent, recognized training in Switzerland
• Professional experience in nursing and care
• Enjoyment of leadership tasks and interest in a team-oriented co-management function
• Willingness to combine leadership tasks with direct nursing work
• High social, communication, and organizational competence
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Appreciative attitude towards people with impairments
• Confident handling of electronic nursing documentation and IT applications

Advantageous

• Experience in disability assistance or long-term care
• Leadership training or the willingness to complete such
• Experience in a leadership or deputy function
• Knowledge of person-centered nursing and care approaches
• Experience in cooperation with relatives, legal guardians, and specialist agencies
• Driver's license category B
