Kartause Ittingen is one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland and offers a highly versatile and exciting environment with hotel, seminar, and banquet operations, a restaurant, agriculture, viticulture, cheesery, gardening, fish farming, butchery, as well as an offering for assisted working and living. It also houses the Kunstmuseum Thurgau and the Ittinger Museum.

As of 1 April 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for the Assisted Living area for a

Specialist in Care 60 - 80% (a)

In the Assisted Living of Kartause Ittingen, within the monastery walls, 29 women and men with a cognitive or mental impairment live. Through the professionally established care team, the residents are accompanied and supported in their practical life topics. Work is carried out within a key person system.

Your tasks

• Support, guidance, and promotion of 29 assisted persons in everyday life outside of the daily structure in all social matters, with the goal of actively strengthening independence, quality of life, and participation
• Key person work including development planning and goal work
• Organization, management, and documentation of status meetings with relatives,

caregivers and internal specialists

• Documentation and journal keeping in the internal KIS (RedLine)
• Medication matters and medical topics in Assisted Living, incl. medication control, preparation, administration, and dispensing according to medical orders
• Coordination with medical service providers such as Spitex, doctor's offices, and pharmacies
• Organization and implementation of leisure and holiday offers

What you bring with you

• a completed training as a Specialist in Care (Fachfrau / Fachmann Betreuung) or in a similar field
• readiness for work shifts between 06:15 and 19:45, without night shifts or split shifts, during 365 days a year
• a humorous, resilient, and flexible personality
• good PC application skills
• Car driver's license (Category B)
