Context
--------

The Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and is among the best hospital establishments in the world according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculté de biologie et de médecine of the Université de Lausanne and the EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, research, and training.

The Service de médecine dentaire provides all dental care services (prevention, basic care, prosthetics, implantology, surgery, and aesthetic care) for adults and children. You will work in a motivated and multicultural team of approximately 50 employees, within 10 practices and a high-quality technical platform (varied care and prophylaxis activity, emergency appointments).

Mission
-------

• You welcome patients, seat them in the chair, and create a climate of trust
• You answer the phone, evaluate the urgency of situations, and schedule appointments
• You prepare the dental unit, instruments, and materials according to the planned procedure; you assist at the chair (passing instruments, preparation of filling materials and impression pastes)
• You perform X-rays under supervision and integrate digital images into the patient file
• After each patient, you clean, sterilize/restock, and disinfect the dental unit by strictly applying asepsis protocols
• You manage stocks (medicines, dental products, consumables), place orders, and check deliveries
• You participate in the activities of the Service (prevention, dental hygiene, minor emergencies) and contribute to the quality and safety of care.

Profile
------

• You have completed your compulsory schooling
• You are attentive, demonstrate tolerance and respect in the patient relationship
• You have manual dexterity, a sense of detail, and irreproachable hygiene
• You are reliable, rigorous, organized, and comfortable prioritizing in a dynamic environment
• You enjoy teamwork, know how to communicate, and respect medical confidentiality
• Fluent French; a second language (English/German) is an asset.
