Reference: CLS/RH/ / Contract type: Permanent Contract at 80% / Hours: in 12-hour shifts + occasional 7h-16h and 11h-20h shifts / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

A member of our team is currently pursuing a new professional training project. To ensure the continuity of excellence in intensive care, we wish to welcome a certified expert intensive care nurse EPD ES.
What will you be required to do?
Take charge of patients presenting complex acute situations and ensure continuous clinical monitoring
Perform nursing care and delegated medical acts with rigor, guaranteeing their quality, safety, and traceability
Carefully monitor the evolution of patients' health status to prevent and anticipate all complications and adapt care
Collaborate and coordinate care with all professionals involved in the care process
Communicate with patients and their relatives, providing listening, information, and support throughout their care
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of care, based on scientific data and skill development

Michel Marclay, Head of Intensive Care and Cardiology, has more than 25 years of practical experience in the field of intensive medicine. He is described as a pragmatic person with a touch of idealism, paying particular attention to collaboration, communication, and trust. He is constantly searching for new solutions for development and progression.
What do we expect from you?
The essentials:
Have an HES nurse diploma or one recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
Hold an expert intensive care nurse EPD ES diploma recognized by the Société Suisse de Médecine Intensive (SGI-SSMI)
Have at least three years of experience in intensive care or resuscitation
Be able to manage stress in emergency situations
Possess ease in handovers and an excellent capacity for communication with clear expression adapted to situations
