Analytical Associate in Analytical Development for Synthetic Molecules

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Development and optimization of robust analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, KF) for the quality assessment of starting materials, intermediates, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
• Planning and meticulous execution of experiments, including reaction monitoring and method development.
• Close collaboration with process development and cross-functional partners to coordinate analytical activities and sample management.
• Close cooperation with the QC (Quality Control) unit to ensure a smooth transfer of the developed analytical methods.
• Creation of high-quality documentation, including analytical procedures and reports that serve as the foundation for method validations and regulatory filings.
• Application of an innovative mindset and digital tools for continuous improvement of analytical workflows in a dynamic environment.

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training in natural sciences (Laboratory Technician) or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with at least 2-3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry. (*)
• Solid practical experience with analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF, MS) as well as strong expertise in method development. (*)
• Strong scientific writing skills and the ability to summarize and present results of complex experiments precisely. (*)
• High quality awareness and uncompromising attention to detail, including work within a non-GMP development environment. (*)
• Proactive, self-motivated work style and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes in a dynamic team environment.
• Fluent English language skills (both spoken and written) and German is beneficial.
