• La Résidence des Diablerets is a medico-social establishment, whose mission is of a geriatric and compatible psycho-geriatric type. With a capacity of 22 beds, it hosts elderly residents for long and short stays and has a temporary reception center.

Your profile:

• Interest in the elderly: Marked interest in geriatrics and psycho-geriatrics; a first experience in an EMS is an asset
• Interpersonal ease & Posture: Calm, soothing character, capacity for listening, perspective, and a keen sense of responsibility.
• Organization and leadership: Ability to prioritize, coordinate care, support the team, and make decisions adapted to clinical situations.
• Team spirit: Ease in interdisciplinary collaboration and in relations with residents, relatives, and partners.
• Digital skills: Mastery of institutional IT tools and ease in maintaining the computerized resident file (DIR/Carefolio).
• Bachelor HES-SO in Nursing required (or equivalence registered with the Swiss Red Cross).
• Complementary training (an asset): Holder of a CAS (Trainer Practitioner, Psycho-geriatrics, Palliative care) or HPCI training.

Your main tasks:

• Organize and guarantee quality of care: Assess needs, plan, administer, and supervise nursing care, ensuring its quality, safety, and continuity.
• Organize and coordinate care activities: Define priorities, coordinate daily care organization, and ensure care adapted to the evolution of the residents' health status.
• Supervise and support the care team: Guide and supervise ASSC, health assistants, students, and interns in their daily activities.
• Coordinate care and collaborate in a network: Ensure the link with the interdisciplinary team, treating physicians, families, and external partners.
• Guarantee traceability and clinical follow-up: Ensure the quality of transmissions, the updating of care processes, and the rigorous maintenance of the computerized resident file (Carefolio)
