Your tasks

• The center of your activity is inpatient care, whereby you take over the professional management of the interdisciplinary team in a partnership-based dual leadership together with the nursing station management.
• Together with assistant physicians (female/male) as well as psychologists (female/male), you ensure quality-oriented therapeutic and medical care.
• You accompany and support the assistant physicians, assistant psychologists (female/male) assigned to you through structured further training and regular supervision.
• Together with the senior physician team and the nursing management, you continuously develop the concepts and the orientation of the ward.

Your profile

• As a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or shortly before completing your specialist training, you bring the professional foundation for this position.
• A valid professional practice permit from the Canton of St. Gallen is required for your activity, or you are willing to acquire it before starting the job.
• You appreciate inpatient work with mentally ill patients as much as close cooperation in an interdisciplinary team at eye level and live a recovery-oriented attitude.
• With your independent and responsible way of working, you make secure decisions and simultaneously convince through flexibility, team spirit, and strong communication skills.
• Your willingness for continuous further development as well as very good German skills at least at C1 level round off your profile.

You will receive a verbal commitment from us by telephone if we decide on you after the second interview, and we will ask you if you are also still convinced by us. If we agree, we will prepare your contract.

The contract

In the following days, we will send you the contract in duplicate by post. With the contract, you will also receive relevant information regarding your employment.

Preboarding

Between the acceptance of the position and the first working day, you as a new employee can already access relevant internal information. This allows you to form a differentiated picture of the company and prepare yourself for the job.

First working day

On the first day, onboarding awaits you in your new team and with other colleagues. You will settle into your new workplace and gain an overview of your next tasks. In addition, you will receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
