Support Responsibility Nurse - 70% (maternity leave replacement)
Resiliam is an association that supports children and young people facing serious illness, disability, or the death of a loved one. It accompanies families, answers children's questions, soothes their anxieties, and thus prevents sequelae due to trauma. It provides free support to families affected by these trials, whether individually, as a family, or in a group.
As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for:
support responsibility nurse at 70%
CDD (November 2026 to July 2027)
Missions:
Accompany families for the purpose of primary and secondary prevention;
Explain the illness, treatments, and side effects to children and parents;
Co-facilitate interventions with families as well as groups in a multidisciplinary approach (in pairs with psychomotor therapists and occasionally an art therapist);
Facilitate support groups for children and adolescents as well as parent cafés on the theme of illness, bereavement, and disability;
Liaise with healthcare providers and social services concerned by the families being followed;
Make Resiliam known and conduct training for professionals in the medico-social network;
Represent the association in the media;
Participate in writing articles, activity reports, and oral presentations.
Profile:
Bachelor HES in nursing or an equivalent title;
Complementary certifying training in oncology and/or palliative care;
Complementary training in systemic practice is an asset;
Experience in oncological care and palliative care;
Interest in the field of pediatric care and disability;
Experience as an adult;
Excellent knowledge of the Geneva medico-social network;
Good knowledge of common IT tools;
Good knowledge of English is an asset;
Availability to work at the end of the day and occasionally on weekends and public holidays;
Autonomy, creativity, and organizational skills.
