With our more than 500 collaborators, the Centre médico-social régional de Sierre (Association intercommunale) has the mission to offer different services to the entire population of the 11 member communes. Our main services cover varied domains, such as notably home help and care, social action, employment, prevention, and childcare. As part of the development of our services, we are looking for a Nurse specialized in palliative care between 80% and 100%

Your profile

• You benefit from a HES diploma in nursing or training deemed equivalent
• You are specialized in palliative care and hold a CAS
• You possess solid clinical skills and are comfortable in the evaluation and management of complex situations
• You know how to face emotionally demanding situations with calm, perspective, and self-control
• You demonstrate autonomy and flexibility
• You appreciate human contact and are client-oriented
• You benefit from a private vehicle

Your mission

• You ensure nursing care and adapted support for adult persons requiring palliative care, notably in complex and end-of-life situations, in close collaboration with their surroundings
• You prioritize a global approach to the person, taking into account their physical, psychological, social and, according to their wishes, spiritual needs
• You implement symptom assessment tools with the teams
• You contribute to the evolution of palliative care within the institution
• You act as a resource person in palliative care for the field teams and bring your expertise in the analysis of complex situations
