The Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrischen Dienste (KJPD) St.Gallen are responsible for the outpatient and semi-residential psychiatric treatment of children, adolescents and their families in the cantons of St.Gallen, Appenzell Innerrhoden and Ausserrhoden. The Klinik Sonnenhof - Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrisches Zentrum (KJPZ) - is a specialist-led child and adolescent psychiatry center. As a care clinic in the area of inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry in the canton of St.Gallen, it has service agreements with the cantons of Zürich, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Glarus and Appenzell Ausserrhoden.

With the decision to merge our outpatient and inpatient facilities, a modern, integrated care center is being created.

Social Worker 40 - 50 % (m/f/d) ##

Your tasks ###

• Support in the interdisciplinary treatment team with socio-pedagogical and social work
• Issues
• Parent and family counseling
• Triage and setting up support and treatment offers
• Assistance and information regarding official matters
• Networking and coordination of inter-institutional meetings with other specialist agencies and institutions
• Project work, possibility to establish group offers

Your competencies ###

• Completed training in Social Work / Socio-pedagogy FH / HF
• Experience with socio-psychiatric issues
• Experience in systemic counseling as well as willingness for training and further education is required
• high social competence, communication skills, structured way of working
