*The emergency centers for adults and children / adolescents of the Inselspital are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for patients and their relatives. Patient management ensures administrative admission and supports the medical and nursing teams in a dynamic and demanding environment.

As a Team Leader, you will lead approximately 15 employees professionally, personally, and organizationally. Together with your team, you will ensure reliable 24-hour operations and actively shape the further development of patient management.*

What awaits you ##

• Participation in the definition of departmental goals as well as the derivation and implementation of the corresponding team goals
• Ensuring demand-oriented shift and deployment planning in 24-hour operations
• Responsibility for the recruitment, introduction, support, and further development of employees
• Ensuring complete, correct, and timely administrative patient admission
• Guaranteeing a binding flow of information within the team as well as towards the relevant interfaces
• Active co-design and implementation of process optimizations, digitalization, and automation projects
• Processing and coordination of complex operational situations in daily business
• Operational cooperation as a patient manager in the emergency center

What you bring with you ##

• Completed commercial, medical-administrative, or comparable service-oriented vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in patient admission, patient administration, or in an emergency environment
• Proven leadership experience; further training in leadership, management, or organization is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system and administrative admission processes
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good oral skills in French and English
• Confident handling of digital work tools and a strong affinity for digitalization and automation
• Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• High service orientation with a calm, binding demeanor - even in hectic or stressful situations
