Our client is a modern nursing institution in the Canton of Zug that accompanies elderly people with different nursing and care needs. In a professional environment, the residents with their individual needs are the central focus. Especially in the dementia area, great importance is placed on needs-oriented care, high nursing quality, and respectful interaction. As Co-Department Manager of a protected department, you work closely with the department management and help shape the everyday life of a nursing team of around 25 people. In doing so, you combine leadership responsibility with your professional proximity to nursing and are an important contact person for residents, relatives, and employees.

Your field of activity with the new employer

• Co-responsibility for the leadership and organization of a protected department with around 23 residents, as well as supporting the department management in everyday leadership
• Responsibility for a smooth daily routine and central contact person for residents, relatives, doctors, and employees
• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual nursing processes including full documentation and service recording in the RAI system
• Accompanying and promoting apprentices as well as supporting new employees in their professional and personal integration into the team

Your plus for the new employer

• Completed training as a Certified Nursing Specialist HF/FH / Certified Nursing Specialist HF/FH or an equivalent, recognized training in Switzerland with SRK recognition
• Sound experience in the nursing and care of people with dementia as well as genuine interest in resident-oriented care
• Leadership experience is an advantage – more important are your willingness to take on responsibility and your interest in the targeted further development of your leadership skills
• Open, humorous, and solution-oriented personality with strong communication skills as well as German language skills at at least B2 level
