Scientist, Research Development & Sciences

Job description:

For our client, an international company in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Scientist to support deviation investigations, CAPA management, and continuous improvement processes in a GMP-regulated environment.

About the customer:

• Duration: From now, 1 year with option for extension
• Location: Bern

Requirements:

• Investigation of GMP deviations, conducting root cause analyses, and creating detailed investigation reports.
• Participation in initial assessments and coordination of deviations within the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Creation, management, and tracking of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) until completion.
• Close cooperation with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments.
• Analysis of process data and identification of improvement potential regarding quality and compliance.
• Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Competences:

• Completed studies in the field of Life Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology) or several years of relevant professional experience in sterile filling.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or food industry in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Practical experience in deviation management, root cause analysis, and the creation of investigation reports.
• Knowledge of QMS, CAPA, Change Control, and risk management is an advantage.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office; experience with TrackWise or Veeva is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence as well as a structured, independent, and quality-oriented way of working.
• Proactive, team-oriented personality with very good communication skills and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics.
