Your tasks

• In addition to the Social Services, you lead the RehaCenter, which coordinates and organizes patient discharges to rehabilitation clinics, as well as the Volunteer Service. In doing so, you actively drive the strategic and operative further development of these areas.
• You lead the directly subordinate team leaders and promote an appreciative, participatory, and development-oriented leadership culture.
• You ensure an economical and high-quality provision of the service offering.
• You coordinate and control the operative activities, being supported by the team leaders, and work closely with our external aftercare organizations.
• You participate in internal and external projects and promote innovative solutions for the optimization of patient care.
• You actively represent the Social Services internally and externally and promote cooperation with partners, specialist groups, and associations.
• You recognize cross-departmental connections between clinics and professional groups and support interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation.

What should you bring?

• Completed studies in the field of Social Work (Bsc or Msc)
• Management continuing education at MAS Management/Leadership level
• Experience in change management
• Several years of leadership experience at middle management level, advantageously in an acute care hospital
• High leadership and social competence, strategic thinking, binding and clear communication, and negotiation skills in interprofessional cooperation
• Good knowledge and networking in the healthcare system
• Pronounced ability to bring different interests together and develop sustainable solutions in a complex environment
