Senior DMPK-PD Project Leader

The position is responsible for the strategic management of translational DMPK-PD projects and ensures that active substances reach patients safely and effectively in the correct dosage. The focus is on modeling, simulation, and regulatory documentation throughout the entire development process.

Tasks

• Definition and management of strategies for drug design, optimization, and substance profiling
• Advising early discovery teams on translational strategies for clinical evaluation
• Leading advanced modeling and simulation activities (PKPD, PBPK, DDI, dose prediction)
• Preparation of scientific evaluations of non-clinical DMPK data for internal reviews and regulatory documents
• Implementation and monitoring of biomarker and bioanalysis strategies
• Collaboration with global project teams, committees, and external partners

Profile

• PharmD or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Bioengineering or similar
• Over 15-20 years of post-PhD experience in a senior pharmacokinetic function
• Comprehensive expertise in PK characterization, distribution, and PKPD for various modalities
• Experience with modeling and simulation platforms such as Phoenix, Berkeley Madonna, GastroPlus, SimCyp
• Practical experience or strong interest in the application of AI and machine learning in DMPK strategy
• Strong communication and leadership experience in complex, multidisciplinary projects
